Andre Wallace is from a family with no shortage of musical talent. As a result, he grew up singing in his church and school choirs in his native country of Jamaica. At around 12 years old, Andre began learning classical piano from his friend’s brother. While learning to play the piano, Andre developed an enthusiasm for song composition.

One of Andre’s most enjoyable music experiences in Jamaica was singing in a young men’s quartet, which had a reputation for covering country gospel music songs. Outside of church, Andre was an active member of the York Castle High School choir, where he sang music of different genres. His high school choir traveled across Jamaica to perform and won several awards at regional and national competitions. While in high school, he and his friend composed the music for a song, which won their high school a national award. 

Andre and his immediate family relocated to the United States, but that did not slow down his musical journey. Since coming to the U.S. over 20 years ago, he has sung in and directed several choirs, has been a member of a traveling gospel band, and is now a solo gospel artist. These opportunities have allowed him to tour the country and share his message of God’s love both near and far.

Andre has been writing and composing songs since he was 12 years old. Recently, he decided that it was time to share his compositions with the world. His goal is to use his music as a platform to initiate true praise and worship around the globe. He has also tapped into his Jamaican heritage to write some gospel reggae songs that will encourage people to get up, dance, and praise. His style blends traditional gospel with contemporary Christian and reggae, and resonates with people from diverse backgrounds.

Besides working on his own music, Andre currently enjoys singing at his home church, leading worship, and directing the men's choir.
